Clarinox Technologies Introduces ClarinoxEdel Smart Sensor System

Melbourne, Australia - June 18, 2007…Clarinox Technologies Pty Ltd, home of wireless and embedded systems solutions, in collaboration with Edel Mikroelektronik announces the ClarinoxEdel Smart Sensor range of products.

The ClarinoxEdel Smart Sensor System is a low-power sensor system comprised of smart tags, smart readers, and smart software. The system can be used to measure, log and store parameters such as environmental temperature or humidity. As tags are active they can also form part of an on/off control system. Applications range from intelligent inventory, depot management, agricultural applications, industrial climatic monitoring to item and asset tracking the ClarinoxEdel Smart Sensor System makes life easier for developers.

The ClarinoxEdel range complements Clarinox’s philosophy of providing designers the ability to readily add technologies to their designs - now BluetoothTM , RFID, and the ClarinoxEdel technologies can easily be added. Modern complex electronic device designs require the selection of the most appropriate hardware, RTOS, middleware, drivers and protocols to combine neatly to provide the best base for the application layer development. This task can be quite complex and often needs to be completely redone for the next design.
