iCHEMS - Chemical Inventory Tracking for Laboratories

Singapore - Feb. 6, 2008…Chemical inventory management has been somewhat neglected by software developers because chemical stockrooms are not regulated by Government agencies even in pharmaceutical companies. The rise in cost of chemicals and reagents as well as the trend towards a paperless office require that laboratory personnel track inventory electronically.

iCHEMS integrates a robust chemical information database management system with a front-end interface focusing on the cabinet. The highlight of the software is that it tracks the usage of chemicals robustly. Similar to the way library books are checked-in and checked-out, the system not only captures, creates, and stores information of any new or existing laboratory chemicals, but also it executes and maintains it in a real-time and consistent manner.

iCHEMS reduces the hassle of manual inventory management in hard copies, saving time, space and effort and thereby increase the efficiency of the entire laboratory. In addition, the system stores all audit history and is CFR 21 Part 11 compliant. It is designed for use by universities, Government agencies, and private research laboratories.
